Dreams on Wheels (2009-2010)
Under the tagline "Danish Cycling Culture for Urban Sustainability" the Dreams on Wheels exhibition - funded by the Danish Foreign Ministry - travelled to over 25 cities in 19 countries. It featured over 100 photographs by Colville-Andersen, offering visitors insight into the Copenhagen bicycle culture and the role of the bicycle in a liveable city.
Colville-Andersen travelled to many of the openings around the world, speaking about Danish cycling culture. Above is a detail from the exhibition at the Mexico City Museum, opened officially by His Highness Prince Joachim of Denmark.
Miradas de Europa (2010)
The 'Views of Europe' exhibition in Madrid - at the Circulos de Bellas Artes venue - was sponsored by the EU and the City of Madrid. The above photo was chosen to represent Denmark - one photo was chosen to represent each of the 27 EU countries.
"A visual journey around the European Union as seen through the eyes of its photographers, this is an exhibition about tradition and local customs, historical places and events relevant to each culture, bringing us closer to a reality which is near at hand and yet largely unknown."
On-street Exhibition in Pardubice, Czech Republic (2009) and in Prague (2010)
A series of 30 photographs highlighting the everyday nature Danish cycling with a humourous approach graced the main street in Pardubice, Czech Republic during European Mobility Week in 2009 and were again featured at the National Cycling Conference at the Ministry of Transport in Prague in 2010.
London City Hall (2009)
A series of specially taken photographs featured at an exhibition at London City Hall, opened by the Lord Mayor Boris Johnson.
